of the Garden
This is my favorite palm in the Fairchild Tropical Garden.
It majestically leans out over Glade Lake for all to see. In many ways,
this single palm symbolizes the essence of an easy going afternoon in
the tropics.
The Fairchild Tropical Gardens are renown in the world for variety and information on palms. Because I have visually studied this garden I have recognized this palm gracing the cover of at least one palm encyclopedia. Imagine being able to recognize a single palm that is not part of a national landmark!
